RACHEL ROOD,  MS, RD, CD.

She/Her/Hers

Philosophy

Rachel is passionate about guiding individuals as they build a healthy relationship with food. She truly believes there are no good foods or bad foods and that ALL foods can fit within the parameters of a healthy diet. By applying the principles of BALANCE, VARIETY, and MODERATION, Rachel can help you “reject the diet mentality” and reclaim your right to food and body satisfaction.

Approach

Are you ready to move away from food rules, fears, rigidity, chaos, yo-yo dieting, and disordered eating? Rachel would love the opportunity to join you in your journey toward freedom and flexibility with food accompanied by body peace and self-acceptance.

Through individual Nutrition Therapy, Rachel will meet you where you are at with your food and body concerns and work together to establish realistic goals to progress on the path to wellness. Rachel utilizes and promotes principles of Intuitive Eating, non-diet and weight inclusive approach. She realizes that there is not a “one-size-fits-all” method or solution to eating issues and will utilize an individualized plan to help you move toward lasting health and healing for life.
